Hospitality is engrained in me.
Samantha grew up in Napa Valley, inside the hospitality industry. That environment shaped a particular eye — for the difference between a home that's been cleaned and one that's been prepared. The intentionally selected wine on the counter. The extra blanket in the right room. The question answered before it's asked. It isn't something she learned. It's just how she moves through the world.
Her background spans the full range of what Eave requires. Years in travel advising and event planning built a deep instinct for guest experience — the details, the timing, the care that makes a stay feel personal rather than transactional. Time as a product manager added the operational and technical side: systems that run cleanly so people don't have to think about them.
"After renovating my home, I decided to list it as a rental. After everything I'd put into that project, I wanted a management partner who would treat it with the same care. When I couldn't find one, I built one."
That experience is the foundation of Eave. The markets are places Samantha knows and has chosen intentionally. The portfolio is small because attention doesn't scale. And every property is managed the way she manages her own — with care for the guest experience, and the understanding that a home is worth protecting.
